What sizes are the lanyards and the eyeglass holders?

Our ID lanyards follow the industry standard, and are 32 inches in total length. Eyeglass holders are a finished length of 26inches.



How are your lanyards and eyeglass holders made?

We use the very best of everything. Our lanyards are strung on the best beading wire made in the USA, SoftFlex wire. The beads we use are a combo of the best fired and pressed beads made in Europe, the crystal beads are Swarovski- the finest in the world. The lanyards are finished with a swivel clasp for you to attach your ID badge, and a small lobster clasp at the neck to make it easy to take off if you don’t want to slip it over your head. Eyeglass holders are finished with replaceable elastic clasps.

Who makes your lanyards?

Our lanyards are made by women in the State of Washington. Our lanyards are made by women who need to work at home, women in local shelters, and stay at home Mom’s who really need the extra cash.



Who designs the lanyards and the eyeglass holders?

You do! We’ve had a booth at the Issaquah Farmer’s Market for the past 6 years, and our customers have been the ones to suggest new colors and new designs. Please feel free to suggest something you think we should offer.



How long have you been making your lanyards and eyeglass holders?

After Sept.11th, we were asked to design a beaded lanyard for a gal whose work had just begun to make ID’s mandatory. The first lanyard was the Metallic Gray, which is still popular today!



How does the ‘Breakaway Lanyard’ work?

We use a Silver Plated strong magnet at the neck, so if you tug hard enough on the lanyard the magnet will release. The ‘Breakaway Lanyards’ are strong enough to support the weight of your ID, and a room key. The magnets are the finest made in the USA by the Mag Lok Company, they are a 3000 Gauss magnet, no glue is used in their assembly. * Caution: Magnets should not be worn around pacemakers.

How strong are the lanyards and your eyeglass holders?

We use bead wire made by Soft Flex that has a 10 Pound Test strength- that’s pretty strong! It will easily support your ID, your glasses and even a room key. We recommend that you don’t hang your cell phone from our lanyards- the weight would make the beads cut into your neck! Our lanyards are strong- but not strong enough to withstand being slammed in car doors! So if you think you might need a lanyard that can withstand getting yanked by a drawer- get one of our Breakaway models!
